ÒreAyò

Terms

These terms cover the ÒreAyò website, the speech recognition preview, and the waitlist. They are written to be read, not to be got past.

Who we are

ÒreAyò is built by SOLAT Technologies Ltd (“we”, “us”). By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

What ÒreAyò is right now

ÒreAyò is in active research and development. The full assistant is not publicly available.

One capability — speech recognition for Yorùbá, Ìgbò, and Hausa — is offered as a public preview during scheduled testing windows. A preview is exactly that: it is provided for you to try and for us to learn from, not as a finished or dependable service.

What the preview does and does not promise

  • • Accuracy is limited. The system makes frequent mistakes, particularly with background noise, fast speech, or accents it has seen less of. Transcripts should be checked before you rely on them.
  • • Availability is not guaranteed. The preview runs during testing windows and is offline the rest of the time. We may change, pause, or withdraw it at any point without notice.
  • • Usage is limited. We cap how many transcriptions can be made from one connection in an hour, so the service stays available to everyone.

Do not use ÒreAyò for anything where an inaccurate transcript could cause harm — for example medical, legal, financial, employment, or safety decisions. It is not suitable for those uses and is not offered for them.

Using the preview responsibly

When you record or upload audio, you confirm that:

  • • you have the right to submit that recording;
  • • anyone else who can be heard in it has agreed to you submitting it;
  • • it does not contain unlawful content, or content designed to harass or harm someone.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information — passwords, bank details, health records, or someone else's private information.

Please also do not try to disrupt the service: no attempts to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to it, no automated bulk submissions, and no scraping or reselling it as your own service.

Your audio and your feedback

Your recording is used to produce your transcript and is then discarded. We keep it only if you explicitly tick the box asking us to.

If you tell us how accurate a transcript was, or suggest a correction, you give us permission to use that feedback to evaluate and improve ÒreAyò. You keep ownership of anything you submit.

The privacy page explains this in full, including how long we keep things and how to ask us to delete them.

Public examples

We may show a small number of real recordings publicly, so that people can hear how ÒreAyò actually performs. This only ever happens with your explicit, separate permission — it is not covered by agreeing to let us keep a recording for research.

  • • Giving permission is not the same as publication: a person reviews every example first.
  • • Examples are shown anonymously unless you have separately agreed to be named.
  • • We show the transcript the system produced, alongside your assessment and any correction, so the example reflects real performance rather than a selected best case.
  • • You can ask us to take an example down at any time, by emailing contact@solat.io.

Giving this permission does not transfer ownership of your recording, and we do not pay for or acquire rights in submissions beyond showing them as described here.

Transcripts

We do not claim ownership of the transcripts the system produces from your audio. You are free to use them. Given how often they contain errors, please read them before you do.

Our content

The ÒreAyò name, the website, its design, text, and the underlying software belong to SOLAT Technologies Ltd. You may read and share the pages, but please do not copy the site or present our material as your own.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist means we may email you about ÒreAyò's progress. It does not guarantee early access, a place in any trial, or a particular launch date. You can ask to be removed at any time by emailing contact@solat.io.

Where our responsibility ends

The preview is provided as it is, without warranties. We cannot promise it will be accurate, uninterrupted, or available when you want it.

We are not liable for losses arising from your use of the preview or from relying on a transcript — including lost data, lost profits, or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

If you are using ÒreAyò as a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Suspending access

We may limit or withdraw access if the service is being misused, or if doing so is needed to protect the service or the people using it.

Changes to these terms

ÒreAyò is developing quickly, and these terms will change as new capabilities appear. When they do, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may still have the protection of your local law.
